Children's Summer 2023 Gallery
Check out all the fun we had this summer at the Decatur Public Library!
We had 1,542 kids participating in our 2023 Children's Summer Reading Challenge. And together they logged over 28,900 days that they read or listened to books!
And in June and July we had 61 different special events for kids at the library, with almost 2,500 kids and their adults in attendance:
- BabyTALK Times
- Story times
- READiculuous shows
- Art classes
- Science workshops
- Gardening programs
- Reading with PawPrint Ministries dogs
- Exploring with the Children's Museum of Illinois
