Leading you through the tight turns, dips, and smoky cafés of Argentina,Tango Del Cielo (Tango of Heaven) is an exciting multimedia concert-show coming to the Kirkland Fine Arts Center, performing the passionate music of Argentine Tango and dramatic, fiery Spanish Flamenco.
Come see founder, artistic director, and harpist of Tango Del Cielo, Anna Maria Mendieta, for a sneak peek with an instrumental performance, harp demonstration, and special, family-friendly discussion before the show opens at Millikin University’s Kirkland Fine Arts Center.
Anna Maria Mendieta and Tango Del Cielo are four-time Global Music Awards & Grammy Finalists, winners of three Clouzine International Music Awards for Best Classical Crossover Album as well as Best Music Video for LIBERTANGO, winner of two Fox Music USA Latin Music Awards, and are number two on Billboard's Classical Crossover Charts.
