What makes mammals different from reptiles, and birds different from insects? What is a unique characteristic that all birds share? Join us as Scovill Zoo’s mobile zoo program discusses “Animal Classification." Kids will enjoy about an hour-long presentation as zoo volunteers take out several animal ambassadors for the kids to see up close and touch.

This program is for kids 8 to 14 years old. Space is limited, so advance registration is required. If program registration is full, click here to get on the Waiting List.

If you register and find you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible we can open up your spot for a child on the waiting list. Call the Children's Desk at 217-424-2900 ext. 5, or email us at childrens@decaturlibrary.org.

Presented by Scovill Zoo, the Decatur Park District.
