Super Science: Colorful Chemistry

We'll experiment with different ways to use, combine, and spread colors. We'll make Magic Milk, a Skittles Rainbow, and everyone will make their own "lava lamps" and chromatography flowers or butterflies to take home.

Plan to wear "paint clothes" -- what you might wear if you were painting at school and might get a little messy.

Enrollment is limited due to supplies, and advance registration is required. If you register and find you cannot attend, please call (217-424-2900 ext 5) or email us (childrens@decaturpubliclibrary.org) as soon as possible so we can open your spot for someone on the waiting list.

Our leader for Super Science is Cheryl Higgs, former middle school science teacher and chemist.
