Christmas Care & Share with Dove

Dove will be available in the Decatur Public Library children's department to sign up families in need of toy assistance for the holidays. Individuals signing up for assistance must have legal guardianship of their children and those children must be living in their household. Photo ID and proof of children's residence in the home required. Acceptable proof of children's residence include: a letter from an agency/school verifying the names of the children in the household, a court document stating the person requesting assistance has guardianship, medical cards for the children, social security cards, a recent hospital bill with the children's names on it, or a printout/screenshot of the Student Demographic/Profile report from the children's school. Children must be between the ages of 0 and 17. If children have already received a referral from their child's school, an agency they're working with, or have signed up at Northeast Community Fund or Salvation Army they do not need to sign up again.
