Mi na Samhna, also called Samhain or the celebration which we know as Halloween, actually began as a harvest festival in ancient Ireland. The roots of this celebration are deep and tangled, and In this program award winning Singer/Songwriter Barry Cloyd will draw back the curtain of our everyday world and take the audience into the “otherworld” on a dimly lit Celtic path of story and song. We'll visit Irish Ghost history with tales of Giants and Fairy folk, Banshees and Lepraucauns. All this will be accompanied by Cloyd's strong vocals, guitars and banjo.

Were it not for the ancient tales and songs of the Celtic world, we would not celebrate this most beloved of Holidays which through Anglicized tradtions we call Halloween. A spooky good time is guaranteed for all.
