PUPS Blue Dog Art Class
Learn to paint your own version of 'Blue Dog' or your own pet.
When: Saturday, June 10, 10 am
Where: Children's Auditorium, Decatur Public Library
Who: Kids K and up
Join us for this guided art program, in which Kim Schwalbach of the Decatur & Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation will teach students step-by-step how to draw & paint a Blue Dog in the style of artist George Rodrigue. They will learn about the art of Rodrigue and his Louisiana roots. They can also bring a photo of their own pet (any kind!) or any pet they would like to try painting.
For kids kindergarten and up, and parents/adult caregivers are welcome.
The program will be led by Humane Educator Kim Schwalbach from the Decatur & Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation.
