REGISTRATION for Spring 2026 opens January 5, 2026.
READiculous, JR is a reader’s theater/creative dramatics program led by READiculous’ Susan Bishop and Alissa Henkel. READiculous, JR promotes self-expression, critical thinking, creativity and team work through exercises. The program includes theater games, improvisation exercises, characterization techniques, literary interpretation and more!
Participants
READiculous, JR is for 10-14 year olds.
Upcoming Classes
Spring 2026 session - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Tuesdays from February 10 - March 17.
Please be sure your student can attend all six classes before registering. Each student will receive a READiculous, JR t-shirt, thanks to the Friends of the Decatur Public Library!
How to Join
Registration opens Monday, January 5, 2026. Class size is limited and students must register. If your student is between 10 and 14 years old and can participate in all six classes, you can register by visiting or calling the Children's Desk upstairs at the Decatur Public Library (217-424-2900 ext. 5). Deadline to register and turn in permission forms is January 20, 2026.
