2023 Summer Reading Kicks Off June 3rd!
PARKING!
Please note: Due to the crowd in the green space, we will be closing off the southern (E Main St.) section of the library lot and some spaces along E. Main St. for safety of those in attendance. Additional parking is available in the public garage on the south side of E. Main St, Novel Ideas Books and Gifts has opened their lot, as well as the on street parking along E. Prairie and downtown blocks to the north and east.
Join us for a Summer Reading Kick-off party! June 3rd, from 11 am to 2 pm! Sign up for our Summer Reading Challenge, pick up your reading log, and have fun with many of the organizations that make Decatur amazing! There will be information, games, and activities to showcase Decatur's summer fun.

This year we're excited to be giving away 50 tickets to Cardinals games at Busch Stadium!
Sign-up for the Summer Reading Challenge during Kick-off and get a chance to win a bundle of 5 tickets to a Cardinals game.
Additionally, be entered to win other great prizes just for visiting the organizations and having fun! Get a checklist, visit at least 10 of the participating organizations, and return your sheet to the library station to be entered.
