The Auschwitz Experience in the Art of Prisoners
A Visiting Exhibit
The Auschwitz Experience in the Art of Prisoners depicts the fate of the victims of the largest German concentration and extermination camp, KL Auschwitz, through the artworks of those who survived. In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Decatur Public Library has partnered with the Champaign-Urbana Jewish Federation to bring this one-of-a-kind exhibit of art and history to the Decatur Public Library for a limited-time engagement.
This exhibit will be on display on DPL's main floor from Saturday, January 20 through Friday, February 9.
DPL will also be supporting the exhibit with related programming. Check this page between now and February 9 for links to additional events.
If you are a teacher and would like to schedule a field trip to view the exhibit, please email tpemberton@decaturlibrary.org, or call 217-421-9765.
